Ring turning green?

Hello,

I had the gastric bypass one year ago this comming up sept. went from size 24/26 to 16. Yeah!!

I have been wearing my wedding ring for the whole time, it is now very loose so it moves around alot.
I was at work and just happened to look down and every place my ring touched was covered in black. My ring is 24 K .
This has Never ever happened to me before any one with similiar experience or any suggestions as to what is happening?

That's only happened to me with rings that either werent real gold or were only gold-plated and had another metal underneath.

Iv never had this problem with this ring...16years, know its mixed since 24K, so couldnt figure it out.
Found all the internet info says its an iron deficiency thing.   Just wondering if my vitamin schedule is not enough and if anyone else had that as an indicator.  

Yes, I've had a ring do this to me too. I figured it was something chemical imbalance in my body. Good to know what it is. Thanks.

My sister-in-laws rings will do that to her, and she too wears 24K gold.  I unfortunately can't remember what her doctor said she was lacking when it happened, perhaps iron, but I wouldn't swear by it.  Ask your doctor or nutritionist, they will know!
